Tres Chimbadas Lake Lodge

Tres Chimbadas Lake Lodge is a charming, family-run lodge on Tres Chimbadas Lake, near the Tambopata River and the Tambopata Natural Reserve, part of the Amazon, in southeastern Peru.

Accommodation is in one the lodge’s rustic wooden bungalows which are surrounded by nature and have a seating area with views to the jungle. They also have private bathrooms. Bungalows sleep up to four people in a double bed and two bunk beds.

Bookings include all guided excursions and all meals. Activities offered include walking and boat tours of the area to see animals such as giant Amazon river otters, monkeys, capybaras and caimans, and jungle night walks, fishing, tour of a family farm, and a visit to a parrot colpa.

It takes approximately 2.5 hours to get to Tres Chimbadas Lake Lodge from Puerto Maldonado airport – 40 minutes by car, an hour by boat, followed by a 40-minute walk through the jungle.
